History of Mark’s Pizzeria

Mark’s Pizzeria began when a small area of a strip mall was dedicated to the first Mark’s Pizzeria.  There wasn’t any room for seating; so founder Mark Crane made a goal to one day expand.  In the meantime, he spent the next few years perfecting the pizza recipe that would one day allow his name to become a household favorite in New York.  The one thing Mark has always promised is a family atmosphere.  However, this isn’t just for the patrons, but for the employees as well.  Each employee takes pride in working for a Mark’s Pizzeria as the respect is never ending.

Where you can find Mark’s Pizzeria

This is an upstate New York based pizzeria; even with a Mark’s Pizzeria that just opened a new location in Brandon, FL.  However, there are over 40 stores found and with the exception of one; they are all located in New York.  In fact, you can find multiple locations in 12 different counties.

Mark’s Pizzeria Product Review

These slices are gigantic!!  Given, the pizza isn’t bigger; so if you order by the pie than there isn’t much of a bang for your buck.  However, if purchased by slice – definitely worth the value.  It’s piping hot; which makes sense for the area since it can get downright freezing in upstate New York.  They do offer gourmet pizzas, but those combinations change daily making it a special.  This is why the different styles are not shown on their website menu.  I was happy when I ordered the Eggplant pizza which was very good.  They don’t skimp on the toppings, but it’s not overflowing either.  I prefer a perfect amount of toppings simply because too many ingredients means a pizza that cannot stay put.  In other words, the majority of it falls on my plate and not in my mouth.  I’d rather not fight my food.  Mark’s hit the pizza loving spot for me!
