History of Hometown Pizza

In 1982, Mike and Mary Jane Foster opened the doors to the very first Hometown Pizza.  Their vision was to serve “pizza creations” in a relaxed atmosphere, which was uncommon during that time.  The pizzerias in the area were always a fast-paced business; so making the pizza from scratch, offering fresh ingredients, and televisions as entertainment was mandatory.  The one promise that this franchise offer its patrons is the same homemade “secret sauce” that has made Hometown Pizza’s famous.  With minor expansions, Hometown Pizza has been able to open locations within the state establishing plans of franchising in the near future.

Hometown Pizza Product Review

It is extremely comfortable eating at Hometown Pizza.  The atmosphere is the exact definition of a Mom & Pop’s establishment; so a welcoming attitude is always offered.  The “secret sauce” is full of flavor; a perfect mix of sweet and spicy.  Each pizza is overloaded with toppings and it’s obvious that everything is made to order.  There are some interesting combinations that I’ll have to return to try; it’s very tempting since I saw someone order a pineapple and spinach pie.  You can practically create anything that you like as each one can be made to order.
