History of Fun House Pizza
Fun House Pizza is a family-owned establishment; this includes all the franchises. The first pizzeria (and name) was founded by Martie and Hellen Graham in June of 1964. It is still owned by the Graham family incorporating their sons to run the main part of the business. Other Fun House franchises began opening up in the area, all owned by families planning to pass the business through family. Fun House Pizza takes pride in having a family business as well as offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Incorporating games and fun house décor gave this pizzeria a large group of dedicated clientele. These patrons have been eating at this establishment for decades. Each location is involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fundraiser and dedicates a portion of their sales to this foundation.
Where you can find Fun House Pizza
The first Fun House Pizza was established in Raytown, Missouri. There was such a high demand for their food that the other locations opened within Missouri as well. Each pizzeria looks different, but offers the same quality pizza along with the fun house décor. Other locations include Independence, Lee’s Summit, and Blue Springs.
Fun House Pizza Product Review
Walking into the Fun House Pizza in Raytown was interesting. You can tell they have been in business for a long time as the location has not been updated since the 70’s. However, because of this, it is very welcoming and has a hometown feel to it. The owners are actively apart of serving the customers and it seems as though everyone employed there is family. The pizza is very good; so many toppings that it cannot be held by the pizza. It’s not a bad thing as there are always leftovers. The games are old school arcades and even I had a mini-flashback playing them. Worth the visit if you’re looking for some very good pizza; just be prepared to get into a conversation as everyone loves to get to know the patrons.
