History of CiCi’s Pizza

It began in 1985 when Joe Croce opened up the first CiCi’s Pizza in Plano, Texas.  His goal was to provide good food at an affordable price for all families to enjoy.  Because of the popularity, CiCi’s grew into a corporation and is now operated by CEO Mike Shrumsky.  Regardless of the different decision maker, Mike has used Joe’s original concept to continue the growth of CiCi’s Pizza.  The actual cost per person is $4.99; although their slogans include “5 bucks and some change” as it does include taxes.  Over the last 26 years, CiCi’s has changed the business game on how pizzerias are offering meals.

CiCi’s Pizza Product Review

CiCi’s Pizza has a very high selection in pizza, as I would expect since it’s a buffet.  The pizza is decent, but great for the price.  If you’re looking for gourmet pizza at a $5 buffet, I’m afraid CiCi’s isn’t for you.  On certain nights, CiCi’s offers unique pizzas such as a Macaroni and Cheese pizza.  It was interesting and I applaud them for trying something new.  The salad bar is limited, but worthy of making a decent salad and the pasta is filling.  Basically, this is a family eating establishment that can satisfy the Italian need for a very affordable price.
